Dear Friend,

This time I am sending Nuggets of Truth in plain text after learning that a number of Hotmail users did not receive the last one. For those who missed it, you will find it at this link.

There is something important I would like to share with you. This morning I received an email from Lynne White who with her husband, Ian, built an orphanage for abandoned babies. Lynne specifically asked for our prayers for little Hope whom she brought from the hospital yesterday. That sweet little one is between two and four months of age but still weighs only 2 kg (4.4 pounds). Lynne's concern is that she gain weight and get strong very soon. Also pray that she will not get malaria.

There is increasing need for more funds to care for the little ones in the orphanage. They now have 19 babies in their care and need support to feed and clothe them, as well as pay for the staff at the home. Ian is here in Brandon, building more homes to sell so they can raise more funds to support themselves as well as expand the orphanage. That means Lynne is alone over there, and as she says, "Life without Ian is hectic because I'm doing his job and mine too! I work about 14 hours a day and am finally getting over pneumonia (it wouldn't go away because I never found the time to rest until yesterday). I slept most of the day and most of the night too and woke up feeling much stronger." Let's pray for Ian and Lynne, for strength and for comfort as they labor on opposite sides of the world with one common goal--caring for the fatherless.
