But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat:
for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
(Genesis 2:17)

Dear Friend,

Soon after June 10, when the last article was posted to the web site, I knew what this next topic would be.  But the preparation and writing has  been  delayed due to tremendous opposition from the forces of evil.  My health suddenly took a turn for the worse, and as you will read in the article, it is all relative.

On another note, I am constantly amazed at how our wonderful Lord will answer prayers we have not yet uttered.  His timing is always perfect!  Before we get to my article, I must share some great news with you.  Last week, a brother contacted me through my web site.  In his email, this gentleman introduced me to his web site and a book he has written, which can be read online.  When I read his introduction and a little about the message, I became so filled with j oy!  It was like medicine to my body, and helped to carry me through to the completion of own message.  We will talk about this more later.

And now to this message that came with such incredible opposition.

'Stunning' Revelation
by Stella Paterson

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches [Greek: 'ekklesia']. Revelation 2:7 EMTV

It is a known fact that God created man with ears. These funny looking organs on the side of our heads have the ability to receive sounds that the brain interprets for our minds which are a storehouse for information. What an amazing function! And what an amazing God to create every one of our bodily functions that work in such perfect harmony as a whole!

Why, then, would Jesus say "He who has an ear, let him hear . . ."? He knew that we all have ears, so what was His concern? What did He know, that we don't, that might interfere with our hearing?

We see all around us evidence of impaired hearing. This is not in reference to actual hearing, as we know it, but to the grasping of reality. It is found not only in the "church" but also in the "world." Although we could point to any one of numerous things as the culprit, there is one in particular that is a major influence in the widespread apostasy in the "church," as well as wickedness in the world.

As we dig a little deeper, we will learn what this 'Stunning' Revelation is. [to full article]
